Recently I felt my hands shivering and legs started paining way too much and did not know the probable reason. To my surprise, when I took a vitamin D test recently, my level was low, but still better than people whose level was 10 or below. Still I had to take vitamin D shot and some supplements. It is one of the major problem in UAE , though sunlight is in abundance, we all are either sitting home or office with air conditioner on or are moving in tinted glasses. Do get yourself tested too, you never know what is your level.
What’s next, the Doctor has advised me too to walk in the natural sunlight for half an hour to get enough Vitamin D for the body. The question is when? The correct time to walk is when your shadow is the longest.i.e. between 6:00-9:00 am and 4:00-6:30 pm. So any of you Divas want to join me for walk? I start at 8:15 am in the morning and 5:30 pm in the evening near Spinneys Karama or the Trade Centre branch near Centrepoint, Bur Dubai (except this July and August, as I am off for Vacation). So let us capture some sunlight together Divas!
